Overview

Recorded at the 2024 Montreal International Symposium on Therapeutic Yoga (MISTY), this workshop explores the intersection of yoga therapy philosophy and techniques with an integrative health, whole-person care model for people experiencing persistent pain.

Bridging the gaps between the neuroscience of pain, lifestyle medicine, the Pancha Maya Kosha model, and bio-psycho-social-spritual-environmental aspects of chronic pain, this workshop provides evidence-based therapeutic yoga tools to give yoga professionals the expertise and confidence to facilitate healing for people who experience long-standing pain.

In this online course, you will learn:

  1. Evidence-based therapeutic yoga tools.
  2. Understanding why and how yoga therapy tools effectively manage persistent pain.
